16 Grey Herons in three groups at various well-used roosting spots, a Dipper at Hirstwood Weir and over 65 Pied Wagtails at Dowley Gap Sewage Works. In between there was little of great interest except four Goosander on the river, a pair of Bullfinch and it was interesting to see that most other species were 'pairing-up' including Jay, Nuthatch, GSW, Mistle Thrush and Song Thrush

35 Waxwings in one group top of poplars between Morton Lane and Swine Lane from tow path. A group west of Swine Lane feeding on Hawthorn back of Morton Cemetery could have been a separate flock but they are quite mobile. Also a few groups of Redwing and the odd Fieldfare seen from tow path plus Goldfinches feeding on Ash keys.
