There were three Wheatears feeding on the golf course, 175 Golden Plovers in their favoured field and three Snipe displaying over their breeding ground. One of the birds was calling from the top of a telegraph pole.

In blustery conditions, three Wheatears (2 males and a female) flew into Birch Close and moments later a female Sparrowhawk swept over them whilst a small flock of 13 Golden Plovers fought with a strong wind.

On a wet and dismal afternoon there were 6 Wheatears (3 male and 3 female) at Birch Close Lane and a Red Kite flew by. There were only 15 Golden Plovers in their usual spot, but a couple of Green Woodpeckers were active in Shipley Glen.
