Lindley Wood Res to Norwood - Willow Warbler - 6 calling males, (with the female seen begging for food), Chiffchaff 7,Blackcap - 2 males, Garden Warbler calling, Redstart - 2 pairs, including one female taking food into a nest cavity in a wall, Pied Flycatcher pair - with the female taking food into nestbox.

Strid Woods -Seems quite probable there were 3 singing Wood Warblers along eastern footpath: 1 seen and heard 50 to 100 yds north of Strid, ditto for bird which has been seen before around seat 100 yds south of Strid and another heard 100 yds south of stone shelter.
Also 4 male Pied Flycatchers and 3 Blackcaps along eastern path.
On back road, 4 Redstarts near Laund House and 11 Willow Warblers in woods including one carrying food.

Very noisy conflict between 3 Common Sandpipers (with 6 over stretch)

On a walk to the reserve, at Sandbeds, a flock of at least 20 Waxwing flew over, low, going north. This evening at Glovershaw - 4 drumming Snipe, 2 Grey Partridge plus a hovering Little Owl.
