Male Kingfisher flew downstream under Barden Bridge and perched on a small bush south of and just below bridge before returning upstream
4/5 dippers between Barden Bridge and Cavendish including a bird singing and a very active pair flying round in close harmony.
Coney Warren
30+ Pied Wagtails including number of young, amassed around Home House Farm on Coney Warren -on the roof, in nearby fields amongst cows and on wires – going where?
1 female Yellow Wagtail amongst above flock.
~100 very active Swallows at Home House looking as though they would soon be going but with some very recently fledged birds around, still showing their gapes and pleading to be fed!
3 Buzzards on back road.
