Glovershaw and Baildon Moor
The air was filled by the sound of singing Skylarks as a Red Grouse walked across the fairway.  The flock of Golden Plover had grown to about 150, some of them roosted at Golcar and a second group were feeding near Birch Close.  Snipe were 'belting' round, a pair of noisy Oystercatchers raced by and Meadow Pipits indulged in their courtship and display.
