10 Wheatears in the fields by Golcar Farm, along the moorland edge and over the Golf Course. There were also two Whinchats, about 50 or so very active Meadow Pipits and more than ten Goldfinch feeding on thistles.

In fields near Golcar Farm were two Whinchats and two Wheatears, feeding and consorting together. A juvenile Kestrel was occupying a perch alongside the golf course and three Stock Doves.

60+ Swallows moving south quickly with a Juv Peregrine circling above them over Gooseye, the Peregrine was then mobbed by a Sparrowhawk.

A Spotted Flycatcher was seen in the hedgerow at the top of Shipley Glen along with numerous juvenile Willow Warblers. A flock of 24 Mistle Thrush were feeding in the nearby 'horse-field' and a smaller flock of 9 Linnets was also there
