Reva Hill area - 2 pair of Redshank plus 2 young, 36 Lapwing plus 7 chicks,8 Curlew, 9 Skylark, Kestrel, 2 Oyks, 4 Golden Plover, 4 Linnet, Grey Partridge plus 3 hares.
Whetstone Allotments - Whinchat sang briefly, could locate it.

Two Sandwich Terns flew up the Washburn Valley, calling loudly, over Thruscross dam wall and across the res. at about 11.45
I checked the res later, but couldn't relocate them.

Stockbridge Reserve (members only) - Whitethroat family are out, Reed Warbler, 2 Blackcaps.
Canal side near Low Wood, Riddlesden - adults entering nest sites - Chiff-Chaff, Garden Warbler.

Norwood Bottom (LW Bridge to FH Wood)
Unusually for Washburn ~20 Sand Martins above bridge with several seen entering holes in bank of river exposed by low water level.
Families of Treecreepers and Siskin in trees near Dob Park Bridge.
10 adult Blackcap, mostly below Dob Park Bridge; there were 2 locations with adults feeding young.
Spotted Flycatcher near Dob Park Bridge (Ken Limb).
Male Bullfinch and young Robin near Dob Park Bridge
Still numbers of singing Chiff-Chaff and Willow Warblers.

Ogden Reservoir - 3 Spotted Flycatcher, Cuckoo, Common Sandpiper, Tree Pipit were the highlights of BOG members walk, (not to mention foto shot of Orange-tip!)

Visited Fly Flatts early to beat the dog walkers and wind surfers, the following waders present at the northern end of the reservoir - Ringed Plover 22, Dunlin 4, Sanderling 2, Redshank 3, Oystercatcher 2.

On our way back from Whestone Gate we stopped at UPWOOD FARM wood and found two Spotted Flycatchers by the house down the lane, they were very active, no chats found at Whestone only Meadow Pipits and Red Grouse, time was 11.00 am

Rombalds Moor - At 7.30 this morning 5 Dotterel. Take Dick Hudson path and 200 yards short of Twelve Apostles, birds were feeding on left side and very close to path.

Glovershaw and Baildon Moor.
5 pairs of Grey Partridge have been located, each of them in the vicinity of the farms. Of the 15 pairs of Lapwing in the Glovershaw area, six have been seen with a total of 19 chicks, although one pair, which had three on Thursday, appears to have lost them to the marauding crows. A Whitethroat was seen on the Glen Road, but there was no sign of any Yellowhammers.
