Glovershaw
The Wheatear movement continues, with three in the 'horse-field' along the Glen Road and a five more feeding on the Golf course near the bottom of Birch Close Lane. A family of four Whitethroat and two juvenile Stonechats were on the ferns along the Glen Road. Two separate families of Grey Partridge were in the fields around Glovershaw and Golcar farms and a Snipe was seen sitting on a fence post.

Monday continued

Sunnydale Reservoir - 3 Buzzard, 2 Kestrel plus a lonely Curlew.

Glovershaw
An excellent morning despite the windy conditions. There were 8 Wheatears and 4 Whinchats in the area. Six of the Wheatears were in the 'horse-field' alongside the Glen Road accompanied by a couple of Whinchats and a pair of Grey Partridge occupied the longer grass with their brood. In the fields near Golcar Farm, two more Wheatear and another couple of Whinchats were feeding whilst a pair of Kestrels were active over the moorland fringe.

Denholme Clough: yesterday - a Tree Pipit seen.
Today - again quiet up to 11.30, but suddenly everything happened, and within an hour the following came and went: Chiffchaff : 43 ( at one point there seemed to be 3 or 4 in every bush)Willow Warbler 6, a Redstart, Blackcap 6.

Today am -- Lots of Mistle Thrush, Pied Wagtail with 4 young, Juv. Blackbirds, Bullfinch, G S Woodpecker, Blue Tits, Great Tits, Greenfinches, Chaffinches, Swallows, one Siskin, 7 Pheasants, Dunnocks, Starlngs, Magpies, Wood Pigeons, Robin. Many young birds!
Feeding on Rowans, bird feeders, and lots of seed from Docks, Pampas Grass etc.

Birds moving through the area included 8 Wheatear and 4 Whinchat. Two of the Wheatears were in the 'horse-field" along the Glen Road, but the other Wheatears and the Whinchats were feeding closely together in the fields near Golcar Farm.

Barden - Osprey (seen twice during the day - the second time very good views right overhead and being mobbed by a Peregrine!), Red Kite, 6+ Buzzards, 2 Sparrowhawks, 4+ Kestrels, Hobby, 2 Peregrines (including a huge juvenile female bird), Merlin (good view of Juvenile / Female bird).

On a bright morning, five Wheatears were in the fields to the east of Golcar Farm. A family of 12 Grey Partridge (two adults and 10 juveniles) emerged from the long grass at the bottom of Birch Close Lane and a "charm" of 30 or so Goldfinch attacked the thistles.

Barden -Osprey showed 3 times 11.30 to 15.45, last sighting with a fish, flying round with it for at least 20 minutes. Probably same bird was seen Saturday and Sunday. 2 Hobby were seen together several times catching insects, up to 5 Buzzard and 5 Raven.

South Bradford area;
Park Dam; 2 swift, numerous swallows, 6 house martins (3 were seen mobbing a sparrowhawk over the estate), 37 canada geese, 3 juv & 2 adult little grebes, pair mute swan, pair of great crested grebe have successfully bred here with x 4 young, also a juvenile of this species.
Through Judy Woods nuthatch were heard, 2 x great spotted woodpecker.

Buzzard were heard with 1 confirmed sighting above Norwood Green.

Little Egret still present, but had 6 Greenshank (SIX) together, most I've ever had in BOG.
They flew from the far bank down over Beaver Dyke - couldn't relocate them there
