Glovershaw
An excellent morning despite the windy conditions. There were 8 Wheatears and 4 Whinchats in the area. Six of the Wheatears were in the 'horse-field' alongside the Glen Road accompanied by a couple of Whinchats and a pair of Grey Partridge occupied the longer grass with their brood. In the fields near Golcar Farm, two more Wheatear and another couple of Whinchats were feeding whilst a pair of Kestrels were active over the moorland fringe.
