St Ives, Bingley - The Hawfinch showed well at 10:00hrs and again 15:45 trees left of nursing home entrance. A Buzzard passed over head and was a different bird to last week's as it had no moult.

St Ives, Bingley -at 12.30 male Hawfinch at top of tall trees in kids play area it moved around for about 20mins before flying east toward the lodge. also several Nuthatch, Mistle Thrush and a drumming Great Spotted Woodpecker.

St.Ives 0900-1045
Hawfinch present near Mansion House from 0930 until 1030. It was seen in the usual trees left of the entrance. After disappearing for a few minutes it was relocated in the tall tree in the field at the front of the house before it flew to the trees at the rear of the STRi Offices. After another minute or so it then flew heading away from the immediate area heading down to Cuckoo Nest Wood.
Also in the estate grounds; female Goosander, plenty of Nuthatches, GSWdpkrs, up to 8 Robins at one time at the feeding station, Redwing.

Three female Snow Buntings by the car park on the north side of the moor. A flock of about 45 Pink-footed Geese passed over and 18 Red Grouse were disturbed on the Sconce side of the moor. As reported by Mark Whittaker
