Two parties of Waxwings flew over Caldene Fields to the S/W this morning with a possible 3rd flock dropping down to feed around the Tong area.

Nuthatch, 6 Long Tailed Tit, Low Wood Nature Reserve viewed from canal bank. Approximately 65 Fieldfare + a few Redwing in amongst in fields and hedgerows around Howden House, (nr Silsden), a Buzzard seen soaring over Jubilee Tower, (nr Steeton).

AndrewF123, Monday 14/11/11: "Waxwings turned up in Skipton yesterday [Sunday 13/11/11] 10 days earlier than last year. Anybody else seen any? I expected the milder weather to delay their arrival."

2 Goldcrest., Riddlesden. Holden swing bridge, near Silsden, approximately 100 Black-Headed and Common Gull in left hand fields, plus 2 Pied Wagtail. A Woodcock put up on footpath along top of Riddlesden Golf Links, plus a Nuthatch. Redwing and Fieldfare were conspicuous by their absence.
