Stockbridge Reserve (members only) - many young birds on site. The raspberry patch attracted Blackcap and Garden Warbler. Feeder and willows held Goldfinch, GSW, Bullfinch, Whitethroat, Chiff-Chaffs and a Siskin along with many of the tit family. It looks to be a good breeding year here.
Sedge Warbler was heard briefly.

Stockbridge Reserve (members only) - this morning, 39 species recorded including - Peregrine, both Reed & Sedge Warbler, Kingfisher (back again), Whitethroat, Willow Warbler, Chiff-Chaff & Blackcap, some visiting rasp patch next to the hide.
Previous day - Cuckoo perched on wall in front of hide - per Fred Drake.

Whetstone Allotments - male Whinchat in full song. This time I located the bird which was not difficult as it was perched on a small Mountain Ash at the side of the road.

White Wells area - Ilkley Moor - Tree Pipit, Blackcap, Siskin, Redpoll, Reed Bunting, Cuckoo heard plus 6 Crossbill flew out of pines.

Thackley - An evening walk around the edges of Poggy Wood, Dawson Wood and adjoining farmland produced regular fly-overs from a roding Woodcock, noisy calls of at least 2 Little Owl, and calling Tawny Owl.

2 juvenile Spotted Flycatchers sat in road at Goose Eye, near Keighley. Eventually I got them to fly back into wood, but they seemed happy sat in middle of busy road.

Barden Bridge to Strid - Good numbers of Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff and Blackcap feeding young as well as Treecreeper and Nuthatch with young near toilet block.Also seen,Wood Warbler,Garden Warbler Spotted Flycatcher and all the usual tits.Very little on river apart from Grey Wagtails and single Dipper.
