Glovershaw and Baildon Moor
Two Buzzards floated over the moor and a couple of Stonechats remained on the Glen Road where they have been seen for most of the spring and summer. Two Jays flew across the Glen and another was in the garden for the second day running.

There was a female Stonechat feeding from the Bracken on the Glen Road and 11 Grey Partridge were noted, eight in the fields at Golcar Farm and three were flushed from the heather adjacent to the Golf Course.

BOG Walk - 43 species recorded included the following:
Swinsty car park - 2 Swallow
Beecroft Plantation - Chiff-Chaff, Nuthatch, Sparrowhawk, Redpoll, Goldcrest.
Timble Ings - 6 Crossbill, Bullfinch, Kestrel, 6 Red Kite, Buzzard, Siskin plus a Wheatear near the car park.
Timble Village - plenty of Tree Sparrows.
Good numbers of Goldcrest seen in both plantations.

A rather exhausted-looking Wheatear was nestling into the fringe alongside a fairway on the Golf Course. Four Grey Partridge were disturbed whilst feeding in heather and a dozen or so Meadow Pipits and a couple of Skylarks flew over a very soggy moor.
