2 Little Grebe on River Wharfe upstream from the Old Bridge
2 Skylark singing at edge of the moor. Kestrel.
Distant views of Red Kite between Round Hill and Old Pike –
Further sighting of Red Kite near Wards End Cottage – no wing tags. 60+ Lapwing in nearby field. 100+ flock of Golden Plover flying low over the moor. Red Grouse count for the day – 20

Dales Way,Ilkley Moor
Common Buzzard and a pair of Stonechats on territory.

Burley Moor Red Kite.
A dozen Red Grouse in seven miles on both moors.

10.15 - skein of circa 150 PF Geese high NW beyond Walshaw Dean (Calderdale). 5 Skylarks, 1 Greenfinch, 4 Golden Plover, 10 Lapwing. 4 Mallard on res, circa 30 BH gulls, 2 Canada Geese
