Embsay Res - Red-throated Diver

Otley - Whooper Swan

Bingley - 4 Waxwings still present on Church Street this morning. Though they were spending most of their time in the trees in front of Crosley House and Wood House on the other side of the A650, also in other trees fringing the canal.

2 Common Buzzard over Cottingley today both drifting SE , first at 12.45 ,second a 13.45. Could have been the same bird but doubtful. No sign of any white on tail!! Chiffchaff heard from garden
