4 waxwings just off Villa Road, Bingley at 9.0 a.m

Stockbridge - 31 species
3 Water Rail seen near hide at same time, 1 calling far bank to left,
several Siskin feeding in trees, superb close views of a pair of Bullfinch,
Greenfinches and Goldfinch, Reed Bunting

2 Snipe, 27 Pied Wagtails, Kestrel, 10+Moorhen

Myrtle Park, Bingley
singing Dipper, 2 Goosander, 20+Redwing

Wilsden, Norr area
Lapwings (271), Golden Plovers (21), Common Gulls (320), Black-headed Gulls (450), and Starlings. Considerable gull movement this morning with several large skeins of Herring Gulls overflying high east at various times. At least three Great Black-backs were picked out in the skeins

4 Goldcrest etc

Leeshaw
Grey heron, 2 cormorant, 2 mistle thrush, 20 fieldfare,
mixed flock of 40 redwing/fieldfare

River Wharfe, by Denton Bridge:
dipper, goosander (pair plus female).

Denton Rd fields, opp river, west of Denton Bridge:
120 lapwing, 40 curlew; common buzzard, 4 red kites.

Wheatley Lane, Ilkley area: 2 goldfinch; 1 oystercatcher
