Glovershaw
On a bright warm day, two Whitethroats fed in the hedgerow below the 'horse-field', a Spotted Flycatcher launched into a swarm of midges and a Willow Warbler sang weakly whilst hidden in a birch.  At Golcar Farm, a family of five Spotted Flycatchers fed happily and three Wheatears were in the vicinity of Birch Close Lane.
