Grey Partridge - 1 with 2 Red-legged Partridge on Walsh Lane (same field
as last Sunday but the other end sheltering near a wall).
Lapwing - 3 on Walsh Lane (were 2 last Sunday - unusual as this is the
earliest I have seen them actually on their breeding grounds, but they
may not stay)
Waxwing - 30+ flew over Walsh Lane from the direction of Heights Lane heading down into the valley.
Kestrel - 1 hunting over the fields on Heights Lane.
Goldcrest - 2 in Prince of Wales Park
Rook - a pair displaying and another pair repairing a nest at the Lady Lane Rookery (again very early)
Long-tailed Tit - 4 in the nursery grounds on Lady Lane
