Glovershaw area
Golcar Farm: 2 Spotted Flycatchers with 2 Willow Warblers and
Chiffchaff. Along the Glen Road was a flock of 15 Mistle Thrushes,
2 Whinchats, Stonechat and a Wheatear. A Yellowhammer
was by the cattle-grid on Glovershaw Lane. At Birch Close Lane,
3 Stonechats were seen, 3 Grey Partridges, Little Owl, Kestrel,
Sparrowhawk mobbed by Swallows and six Jays flew by.
In this area 30 Goldfinches were present with 20 Meadow Pipits.
Weecher 2 more Stonechats, Willow Warbler, 2 Curlews and at
Faweather Farm a flock of Swallows and House Martins
