Red-throated Diver on Swinsty Res today which has been present for several days now as it was reported on Birdguides on Saturday .

28 Golden Plovers feeding in fields by Birch Close Lane
30 or so Fieldfare continue their stay in the fields by Golcar Farm.
Grey Partridge was flushed near the Golf Course and well established pairs of Oystercatchers, Snipe and Curlew as well as about 15 pairs of Lapwing were very active. 11 Willow Warblers were heard on the walk around the area, the sound of Skylarks filled the air and an attractive pair of Reed Buntings were by the path to Birch Close and a solitary Swallow passed by. About ten days ago a female Yellowhammer by Crook Farm
