2nd April 2009

Glovershaw area
Very much a spring feel to the morning with six Skylarks breaking into song over Baildon Moor and the Golf Course. A couple of Chiffchaffs were present at Sconce by the Scout Hut, a pair of Red-legged Partridges, a hunting Kestrel and a Little Owl sitting in the sun were prominent. At Glovershaw, three pairs of Snipe, three pairs of Curlew, 15 pairs of Lapwing and the first Wheatear (male) of the spring. A couple of Roe Deer and a pair of Hares completed the list.
