Glovershaw
What better than to be on the moorland fringes of Baildon Moor on such a very pleasant day as this. The numbers of Golden Plover had risen to 67 and about 12 pairs of Lapwing were now on territory. Two pairs of Curlew were feeding on the rough pasture and the air was filled with the sound of Skylark and the call of Snipe. No passerines as yet, just the promise of Wheatear, Stonechat and Whinchat in the next few weeks.
