Glovershaw, Baildon
A flock of 19 Golden Plovers had gathered in the field adjacent to Glovershaw Lane where they congregated last year. This is the first group to appear and we can expect the numbers to increase over the next six weeks. About 12 pairs of Lapwing were in-situ and a Snipe flashed across where they usually breed. A flock of 30 or so Fieldfare were in the area together with a pair of Stock Dove and 28 Greylags were feeding nearby.
