Glovershaw and Baildon Moor
A very pleasant morning, ideal for checking out breeding passerines. Meadow Pipits and Skylarks were feeding on the Golf Course and a male Reed Bunting carried a Meadow Brown butterfly to the nest. A male Linnet was trilling from the bracken and at Crook Farm a Whitethroat was frantically gathering food.  A flock of a dozen or so Swallows were skimming the grasses in their search for insects and high above 15 to 20 Swifts swept by.
