Glovershaw Area
The pair of Stonechats, at the Glovershaw end of the Glen Road, have now produced two juveniles, and all four birds were visible this morning. Other post-breeding birds included Starlings, which were seen in the fields by Golcar Farm. Meadow Pipits were carrying food, four male Skylarks were ascending and singing, and numerous Lapwings were aggressively guarding their territory. The Snipe were much quieter now but they could be seen in the damp fields and occasionally sitting on a post
