44 Waxwings in the Lucy Hall Drive, Baildon area at 1.30pm.

1 Chiffchaff still round filter beds, 14 Grey Wag (best count this winter), 60+ Pied Wag, 3 Meadow Pipit, 4 Mistle Thrush, singing Song Thrush, Sparrowhawk still making regular unsuccessful attacks over sewage works. 1 Dipper below Hirst Mill Weir. Several Nuthatch in woods.

1 little grebe, 2 great crested grebe, pair gadwall, 6 wigeon, 6 pochard (4 males, 2 females), 14 goldeneye, 10 tufted duck, 1 pair goosander, 100 coot, 18 oystercatcher, ~40 lapwing but only 1 curlew (heard), 2 snipe, 2 drumming great spotted woodpeckers, 1 singing song thrush

Knotford Nook (main lake 20% frozen, small lake 60% frozen)
80 pink-feet over heading west, ~80 wigeon,
31 goldeneye (including 9 males), 24 tufted duck, male pochard,
2 little grebe, 3 great crested grebes, 168 coot.
